The estimated total investment ranges from $32,000 to $49,450, depending on vehicle acquisition cost, insurance and operating capital. We are unique in that we offer in-house financing for $13,500 of the actual franchise price of $25,450. What makes us truly low cost is our fixed royalty of $95.00 a week. A Virtually Turn-key Business
Our comprehensive Franchise package is designed to get you in business as soon as possible. Equipment, inventory, training, business cards, decals for vehicles and even Altracolor shirts and caps are included in one complete package.
Who Are My Primary Customers?
Potentially all new car dealerships, used car departments and fleet companies such as Hertz, Avis, Budget, etc. There are over 120 million used vehicles on the road with approximately 80% of them in need of some cosmetic improvements. Historically, the Altracolor system has been 95% recession proof.
What Skills Are Required?
The equipment you receive as a franchisee is customized for our business, and has been perfected over many years. If you are mechanically inclined, and like hands-on projects, you will be able to perform Altracolor repairs. The only stipulation is that you cannot be afflicted with any degree of color blindness.
What Ongoing Assistance Will I Receive?
Altracolor offers ongoing assistance with all aspects of the Franchise owner's business. We retain an experienced staff that will assist with technical problems via our hotline. We also have available to you newsletters, field clinics, franchise conventions and Email to give you complete technical and management support.
What Are My Territorial Rights?
The Franchise license you receive designates your EXCLUSIVE Altracolor territory for as long as you own the Franchise.
Is My Franchise License Renewable?
The Altracolor contract is for 15 years, with two five-year options, as long as you are a franchise in good standing.
What Do I Get For My Investment?
  1. An assigned exclusive territory and a franchise license. The Altracolor Equipment Package. Detailed marketing, technical and management training. You will be informed of equipment and technology advances by our research and development department. Training for franchisee and or their employees at our training facility. Follow-up on-site training and marketing support after your Altracolor business is open and operating.
  2. On-staff troubleshooters to assist in job problem resolution.
What Would I Need To Provide?

A minimum of $11,950 cash is needed for the down payment.

Altracolor offers financing of the equipment package for terms up to thirty six months, with approved credit.

You will have to provide a vehicle, a mini cargo van is acceptable, or a pick-up truck with an approved bed cover or top. The cost of this vehicle is up to you. You may secure financing for the purchase or you may lease the vehicle through your local dealer. Insurance costs will vary by locale but should range between $1,000 and $3,000 and probably can be financed by the insurance agency if needed. If you have employees, the payroll cost should be included in working capital estimates.

We recommend you consult with existing mobile units owners to determine how they are doing. Keep in mind, that all business ventures have an attendant risk, however detailed planning and purchasing a business with a proven track record can minimize the risk.
